Alli Rogers is a native Texan, currently living in the DFW Metroplex. Her work as an artist and an educator at the Kimbell Art Museum merges themes of community, play, and co-creation.

She has a B.F.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting from Texas State University and an MA in Art Education with a Certificate in Art Museum Education from the University of North Texas.

Her project Interfacing: Meet and Build, was a pop-up exploring collaboration.

In a three-part process, Interfacing began with a collaborative sculpting and building session at the Hampton/Illinois Branch Library in Dallas. Participants were given prompts like How will these materials relate to each other? How do they relate to each of us? Sculptures made during this time were later incorporated into a larger installation at Sunset.

Her installation focused on the use of low-brow materials as an entry point for the public to explore sculpture. What was begun at the Library was augmented by Rogers, and then further expanded through the public's contributions at the Interfacing reception, resulting in a recursive loop of new materials and mark-making.
